Supporting Indigenous Youth — Indspire offers financial support for Indigenous students pursuing post-secondary studies. Apply for bursaries & scholarships to fund your college, university, or trade program.

The Aboriginal Bursaries Search Tool is a searchable list of 771 bursaries, scholarships and incentives across Canada.

The Society offers Indigenous Award programs for students pursuing post-secondary education in BC. They are available to students who identify as Indigenous – First Nations (Status or Non-Status), Métis or Inuit. All are renewable in order to provide sustained funding over multiple years.

The bursaries and scholarships program provides financial support to First Nation students to assist them in achieving success in their post-secondary journey.

The First Citizens Fund Student Bursary Program provides financial awards to Indigenous students enrolled in post-secondary education.

Students from the Indigenous community face unique challenges and systemic barriers that can make getting a post-secondary education difficult. So, we worked closely with AFOA Canada to build a scholarship program that helps meets the unique needs of students from the Indigenous community.

YVR Art Foundation provides support for BC and Yukon First Nations artists through four main funding programs. 1. $5,000 scholarships for emerging BC and Yukon First Nations artists age 17-29.

HSA provides two $2000 bursaries to Indigenous students from BC who are continuing or proceeding in any HSA-related field.

These awards are given to three individuals that exemplify the qualities of leadership, commitment to the forest sector, and a demonstrated commitment to the Indigenous community
