200 girls in grades 6, 7 and 8 got together for Stem4Girls Days – a first time event held at . Offered to Burnaby Schools students over two days, in partnership with IBM, girls are given the opportunity to be inspired by female mentors who work in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). The girls get to do some fun activities and hear from women working in fields like pharmacology, engineering, and the video game industry.
