Current Grade 7 Students Going Into Grade 8
Students going into Grade 8 in the 2024-25 school year will receive information in the Spring about registration at their elementary school’s catchment high school as well as course selection. Therefore, current Grade 7s who attend an elementary school in the Burnaby School District do not need to apply in FebruaryÌýunlessÌýthey are wanting to attend a high school that is outside of their catchment. Regardless of which elementary school they attend, those who want to attend a different high school from the one in their local attendance area based on their home address need to apply for a cross-district transfer, which can be foundÌýhere. To find the schools that serve your address clickÌý. Families of current Grade 7 students who attend an independent or private school and want to go to a secondary school in the Burnaby School District should contact the office of the high school that is within their catchment to receive registration information by email.Ìý
